E mentr'Egli pronuncia i suoi incantesimi misteriosi sui Non-Essere che non hanno ne' occhi ne' orecchi, ecco, essi cominciano a smoversi e a fremare; e i figli del Nulla, pei suoi incantamenti, rapidi corrono a frotte verso le contrade dell'Essere, danzando a gioia. E quando Egli di nuovo recita incantesimi sublimi agli esseri, questi come rapidi destrieri, corrono ancora nel Nulla. Ha bisbigliato qualcosa all'oreccho della rosa, ed eccola aprirsi al sorriso; ha mormorato qualcosa al sasso, e n'ha fatto la gemma preziosa scintillante nella miniera! Al corpo ha letto un messaggio sublime e l'ha fatto spirito, ha parlato al Sole e splende ora di raggi. E quando ancora dice all'orecchio del Sole qualcosa, il Tremendo, la guancia rossa del Sole si copre di cento eclissi. Ma che cosa avra' cantato il Dio all'oreccho della Nube, che come un bianco otre, versa lacrime di dolore sulla terra? Che cosa avra' mai il Signore bisbigliatto all'orecchio della Terra, che tutto essa guarda attenta e non dicce parola?"
